Tine Smak - Raspberry

First of two ads for the Norwegian dairy producer Tine. They launched 2 milk products with subtle tastes, this one being raspberry.
The idea was someone capturing the berry in a glass, as they "capture the aroma" of this berry in their product.
Originally we were supposed to track all the shots, but this proved impossible due to the lack of tracking features and the extreme shallow DOF on the footage. All cameras were consequentially hand animated as best could be done. The berry was built, textured and shaded by me, animated by an in-house animator, point cached back to Max, then rendered by a colleague me, and lastly comped by me. We also hand animated any matte surfaces etc. as needed.
