Visualisation for Kleihues & Schuwerk.
Competition for the new National museum to be built in Oslo. Received a base model from the architects, and promptly needed to rebuild most of it as often happens.
They supplied a lo res texture that was meant to be used on all aspects of the building body, except the white alabaster part. They supplied no other information other than to refer to other visualisations done by MIR in Bergen, and that they wanted a flyby of the project with some surrounding landscaping and road work being planned and done by my company.
Model was prepped in 3dsMax and exported to Lumion (when it was brand new), where materials, environments and lights were set up, before dressing the set with a mix of 3d and 2d cutout assets. The original camera animation was much longer (to a point where it could be taxing on your brain), so it has been considerably re-cut and sped up here. The night shot was a simple Photoshop painting cross-faded in comp.
